Writing for Polo's Bastards

 

We are always looking for new articles to run at Polo's Bastards. Unfortunately we are as stingy as hell, so you won't get paid for your piece - hell, we don't even have a self-promoting piece of flotsam to send to you, but you can take comfort that your story will reach tens of people (at least)!

Feel free to send us your travel stories from out-of-the-way places. We are also interested in opinion and political pieces on countries from expats with inside views on the situation. Also gear and book reviews might get a run.

Of course not everything we receive will get published, but you've go to be in it to win it. If your material is racist or defamatory then it will NOT be published and the editor may even spill his coffee with indignant rage.

Please state whether you would like your email address published along with the story, so that the imminent flood of travel editors wishing to pay you millions for future stories can get in contact with you directly.

We REALLY love it when people send photos with their stories and if the photos are good enough we might even put them in the Photo section of the site. Please accompany your photos with a brief desciption of subject and the camera settings you used.

Bear in mind that we consider irreverence and self-deprecation to be good qualities in a person!
